Finally I have had time to paint a new picture, the last one is a long time back .
This picture shows the view over a crater on Mars.
I wanted to convey the feeling of the lifeless solitude of the red planet.

Looks like they're having a dust storm, which isn't unusual on Mars.  I think you got the "feel" right.
