I like how the star light is being scattered in the nebula.
I haven't yet attempted to render planetary rings and their shadow using blender myself, great work!

If you are looking for any critiques, I'll offer one.
The direction of the light being cast on the planet, and the angle of the shadow of the rings relative to the rings themselves should agree with one another.

In truth, the rings were done in GIMP, as were the ring shadows.  Had a nightmare of a time getting it to work right, so when I had the above result, I was fairly pleased with it.

Thanks for the geometric guide.  How did you do that?

(I've never done rings in Blender yet either)
