I have always found it funny that I get messages saying that I could not possibly design and build the model just using Bryce. Well just to show that it is possible here is a wire-frame showing the completed model using just the Booleans objects that come with Bryce. I hope that you will appreciate all the work that went into designing and building the model in Bryce.

Thanks again for taking a look.

Cheers,

David

I, for one, am never in doubt as to what you do, and how well you do it I wish I had the patience to take on something this complicated. How long does it take to complete something like this?

Hello regulus and karl.garnham1, the model took about 4 months to complete. There are 9 major sections that completes the entire ship. From the engine main thrusters, reactor section, Lander support frame, Lander, HighGain Antenna section, rear docking section for Lander, Front docking section command module, center sections command module, Life support sections, engines sections on command module, etc. And then all the little parts on the exterior of the ship. All together the actual file is a little under 1 Gig with 100253 separate objects and 7559938 polygons. So as you can see this is quite complex for a program that was original design as a landscape program. I hope that I have answered your questions.

Cheers,

David

Yes it answers my question - my next question is why doesn't SV have an emoticon for 'fainting' or 'falling out of your chair' ???

Thanks for sharing!
