Always a lurker never a poster, How's it going? I'm a pretty amateur guy who tries to do everything from scratch in photoshop. I don't know if its advertising against the rules to say my portfolio is at http://flyboy082.deviantart.com but I'll kill the link if I need to. I have no professional interests in the art world as I'm an Archaeology major at Appalachian State University where I'm just a 19 year old insomniac who works a desk till 4am while playing in photoshop. I love this site so much and the tutorials taught me most of what I know but I know I'll never get truly brilliant at it until I'm mingling and learning as a part of the community. Can't wait to really learn about the crazy nebulas and stuff you guys pull off in photoshop. I don't use anything else and I'm aware of the old tricks but we all know the old tricks don't get the amazing banner images on this forum up there. ^

Welcome to Solar Voyager! I think you have a good start -- your "Mar'saerah" piece over at DA is really vibrant and dynamic!

Hi Yuri, welcome to our site. Your DA renderings are very good. As for linking to other sites--it depends on if we know the site. We are very leery of the strange weird ones (they must be family friendly and not a virus generator). When you want to take a break from your studies, do upload a rendering or two here. Hi Yuri909 Welcome to SV Hope you enjoy it here, and if you have q's there are plenty of knowledgable folks to ask Yeah links to DeviantArt are usually fine, but we do like it if you would post your images on our server here. If you have large versions that dont fit under our 1mb limit, you can post them elsewhere, dA is great for that
