Starting today, members may nominate image posts in the
Space Art Gallery forum for inclusion in the Solar Voyager header!
The Solar Voyager header is a place where I like to highlight outstanding works of art that have been posted here on Solar Voyager. Until now, the pieces chosen for this honor have been exclusively up to me -- but now I'm opening up the system so that all members can vote on the artwork they'd like to see in the header.
Here's how it works:
When you browse through the
Space Art Gallery forum, which is reserved for members to post their finished artwork, the first post of each topic will have a "Nominate" button at the upper right:
If you feel the image in the topic is worthy of being included in the header, click on this button and you will see a form to fill out -- Simply tell us why you think the image should be included in the header and then click on the "Send Nomination" button.
Please limit your nominations to one or two votes per week, unless the images you're nominating are simply too good to pass up!
Restrictions:
* Only topics in the
Space Art Gallery forum contain the "Nominate" button.
* You can't vote for your own work!
* The image should be something that is appropriate for the header -- that is, it should have high enough resolution and, ideally, be landscape orientation so that I can crop out a good section.
* I will add images to the header roughly once a week, as time allows.
* The final decision about which images are added to the header is solely up to the Solar Voyager administration.
