In a continuing effort to promote community, Solar Voyager is teaming-up with the SpaceArtists group from Deviantart!  Aaron Monse (atd) and Ross Lockhart (d1git) are the founders of the group and have done an excellent job of bringing together an assortment of talented young individuals with a shared interest.  With a few more years of experience and determination, some of these artists may very well be among the next-generation professionals in the field.

Like many art groups, the Spaceartists team is releasing themed collections of work (Art Packs) on a regular basis.  Their first release occured in January with the Satellites pack.  We will have that online here in just a day or two, accessable via the menu on the left sidebar.  Future packs will be released simultaneously at both Deviantart and Solar Voyager.

Many of the SpaceArtists members are already regularly contributing members here at Solar Voyager, so the partnership works very well.  Please welcome those who may be visiting from DA for the first time.  And to those who are new to the site, take the time to get involved - we are all about offering thoughtful, constructive feedback to artists who post their images, as well as finding solutions to technical challenges.  This can only happen if everyone participates and shares their own information and insight!

The Satellite Pack is now available.  This pack, and all future packs can be accessed via the "Art Packs" link on the left navigation menu.  Announcements will be made as new additions happen.
