it's great to see all of you again here after that long break I thought that many won't come back again.

Sure is nice to see that everyone missed the site!

UPDATE:

I just reinstalled the code that enforces topic naming in the Members Gallery section, so you no longer have to remember to put your name in the topic -- the site will fill that in for you.

Now to hook up the NEW AND IMPROVED image upload system.  A little preview --

There will only be ONE upload button.  You'll upload your FULL SIZE image and the system will automatically create an appropriate size image for within the post and will create a link to the full-sized image showing its proper resolution.  Much more streamlined.

I'm also looking at increasing the image file size for gallery images, which is now set at 500K.  Let me know what you think an appropriate limit might be.

Anyway, back to work for me...

I think a size between 768KB to 1MB should be enough as most images I think, don't cross that limit.

I agree that 1mb would be REALLY helpful.

With 1,024 Kb, I could post .png images instead of using cruddy .jpeg compression. Now that would be helpful...

I'd be happy about 1 mb. That should do the trick.

I just tried to upload my full sized image and got an error message that the file was too large.  Shouldn't the file be automatically resized or did I do something wrong?
