My telescope is a small Mede Saturan. It's a 2 inch Refractor with a wooden tripod. It's ok for the beginner. A bigger Reflector with a remote control is on my wish list.

yeah sounds cool, if you want a high quality telescope then id like to recommend telescopes from the Meade Company, they make excellent telescopes which you can remote control, they are very compact and portable too!!!

indeed, i had/still have an early version of the ETX telescopes, but i found out that you shouldnt let the telescope tube rest horizontally, cuz after some months the gravity will have pulled down the optics on the primary mirror and that will make your view unsharp, its probably better to let the telescope tube rest vertically

maybe i will get a 16" Dobsonian in the future, they are cheap too
