I`m back from the "real" world and there is a little bit less chaos on my harddisk. Tried to
classify everything but had to find out that it`s not really classifiable. Nice excuse that permits me to leave a certain amount of chaos.

Here is my newest picture. It wasn`t planned that way but it finally ressembles a planetary
nebula.  Anyway, I like it. Hope you like it too.

C&C welcome!

I like the way you portray your nebulae, they usually have a photorealistic appearance. :)

Hello eonite

Another Swiss bloke! Hurray!! B)

To your picture: I love it, and I have seen a great number of
nebulae and other astronomical art scenes. This one deserves

Thank you for the very nice compliments.

Karl and Fahad: I suppose you know more about nebulae than me, so I am specially happy you find it convincing.

Zonic  Blazer:
Quite easy: Take a camera, beam myself into space, take a couple of nice shots.
beam myself back, upload, that`s it
I wish I could explain it in a few words...

tumasch: Welcome to SV und ein herzhaftes Grüezi! Very nice comments, indeed! I will add
more content to the site soon.

Nice work, Dick!  Great colors and composition.

My only crit is that the stars wouldnt be shining through the nebula quite as brightly as they are in this scene.  How much (if at all) would depend on the density of the cloud, and parts of this nebula look rather dense :)

Great scene though!  That's a minor detail.

Hi Dick, very stunning work indeed-composition is wonderful as is the coloring.  Everything gives the whole work a sense of dimensionality.  The stars that you have placed in front of the nebula enhances the overall effect.  Jan
