Two new images by Frank Hettick have been added to the expert gallery today. They are the first two on the page via this direct link. As always, Frank's descriptions are informative and interesting, giving us insight into the golden age of Space Art and early ideas of exploration.

All of his stuff in the gallery here are superb, but imo one of his best work, Homeward Bound, isn't in there. I wonder why.

anyway, I really like how most of the expert space artists (especially Frank) give the really thoughtful descriptions. Most of the newer breed space artists' (including me) don't really think much about the piece: it seems like the popular trend is to slap a few planets and nebula in and name it a cool name and give a really limited description (something like the definition of whatever they named it).

anyway, I'm carrying on again. Superb style Frank!
