One area of the site that has been lacking is the selection of avatars for the discussion forum. So, I pulled some images (public domain) from NASA's various sites, including hubble images, and put together a few things. As a result of this, 25 new avatars have been added to the collection! In addition, some of the existing avatars (which were hardly used) have been removed.

As always, if you are interested in creating avatars from portions of your own artwork, feel free to send those over and they will be added to the collection. Full Avatar size is 61x61 pixels.

so where's the upload option for the folks who don't have a webhoster?

Nah, all these should just be sent over in email.

 

 

most community art sites have an option so the artist can upload an avatar w/o having to deal with the site handler and all that jazz.

the email way isn't as fast as the upload way is what I'm trying to get at.

just thoughts (and perhaps not the best place to discuss)

There are presents under the tree and they complain about the color of the wrapping paper!   Arrragh!
