will there be some imagery from the Expert gallery be included in the random splash intros as well? (I assume so)

I'm not sure of what a splash page means (the word  ), but i am a bit into this with web design and stuff like that, so if i can still help you, just lemme know, i would be glad to help you out with web design

As of now, no - I wanted to use images that people submitted specifically for this purpose. Any of the artists in the expert gallery are free to submit work for this as well though (even the same images), but it's up to them to actually do it.
Like I said, I wanted people who were actively participating to have the opportunity for their work seen on the front page. If I start mixing in a couple hundred additional images from the other gallery (on my own), the odds of that will be much less.

No problem - hey, quality over quantity is basically what this site is all about, so I'm pleased with how things are going (in 1 day!). I hope to see a few more entries, but what we have already is excellent.

I'm sure there'll be more submissions by the two weeks. Most of the space artist here probably only get the chance to view the site about 2 or so (or less) days a week. By two weeks or whatever, more and more space artists will notice. some will care, others won't. life
