Well my last 3rd element entry didn't get the responce that I hoped so I've decide to come up with a more accessable challenge.
Your challenge is to create a piece of art representing a scan of a planet, star, system, galaxy etc. The piece is to look like a monitor screen on space ship. There should be loads of overlayed information about it and other fancy bits. Go wild with it and good luck¬

Hi Mike, I thought I was the only one with them responses. Does look like a great challenge--I just got to get the cobwebs out of my brain. Jan

Hi Mark, you sure can, you can even combine 3D, 2D and any other tricks up your sleeve. You can use the industry standards 3DMax, Lightwave, Maya, etc or use the poor boys version Bryce, Vue, Raydream 3D, Terragen, etc as well as PS, PSP etc or a combination of everything. Jan

Sorry, I'm new here, but is this like a request or a challenge that anyone can do? It looks like it is, but I don't want to do anything stupid.

So is this "challenge" dead? I'll do it if anyone else still cares about it.

When Star Systems are mentioned does that mean from a cockpit? Because if So I have a Cockpit that will work well although this also scans Galaxies and other Stars.
Cheers
Karl
